WORKER ASSIGNED TO USE WOOD DRYING MACHINES

(Wood Dryer Machine Operator)

ADARWA Cooperative  is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic candidate to work as a  Wood Dryer Machine Operator .

This employee will be responsible for operating and monitoring the wood drying machine, checking its operation, monitoring the quality of the dried wood, and complying with safety and operating instructions for the machine.

Key Deliverables

  • Use and monitor  Wood Dryer Machine .
  • Control temperature, humidity, moisture content and drying time.
  • Use  digital control panels, sensors  and other technological devices in the machine.
  • Record and store information related to production and machine operation.
  • Identifying machine problems and reporting them to the manager.
  • Perform basic cleaning and inspection of the machine,
  • Checking the quality of dried timber.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Possess at least  a TVET Diploma/Certificate or Secondary Education , preferably in  Mechanical, Electrical, Wood Technology, Industrial Technology  or other relevant fields.
  • He has knowledge in using industrial machinery.
  • He/She has knowledge in  ICT , including computer usage.
  • Proficient in  Microsoft Excel and Word .
  • He has basic knowledge of  sensors, temperature, humidity and digital control systems .
  • He has the ability to identify and solve basic mechanical problems.
  • He/She is willing to learn and use new technology.
  • Experience in operating  a Wood Dryer Machine  or similar machines is a great asset.
  • He is a hardworking, reliable, punctual person who is able to work with others.
  • He knows English to the point of reading and understanding machine instructions.
