- Ensuring timely, accurate, and safe delivery of equipment and goods.
- Verify the accuracy of items before departure and upon delivery.
- Handle unexpected situations such as roadblocks and vehicle breakdowns.
- Follow road safety guidelines.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including regular inspections, oil changes, and maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Plan delivery routes and schedules in coordination with the logistics team to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
- Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of equipment and goods during transit to prevent damage.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships by providing efficient, reliable, and courteous service.
- Ensure efficient route planning to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Operate the vehicle in an efficient and effective manner while reporting any technical issues promptly.
- Keep accurate records of all deliveries, including delivery times, locations, and items delivered.
- Load and unload equipment and goods at event venues, warehouses, and client locations using appropriate equipment.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure proper inventory handling and reporting.
Professional Qualifications

| Driving | KCSE Certificate; additional education or certification in logistics or a related field is preferred. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. At least 5 years of experience driving commercial vehicles, preferably in the logistics sector. Experience in regulated warehouse operations will be an added advantage. In-depth knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices. Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage. |
