You’ll play a meaningful role in supporting the business through accurate data analysis, high-quality reporting, and responsive administrative support, all delivered within agreed SLA parameters.

As a Virtual Advisor Channel Administrator, you will turn data into insight; analysing trends, uncovering opportunities for improvement, and helping the business make informed, evidence-based decisions. You’ll be involved in the full data lifecycle, from extracting and analysing data to building reports and visualisations that drive real value.

You’ll work closely with managers and users across the business, gaining exposure to different areas while building strong relationships and a deep understanding of how data supports operational and strategic outcomes. Key Deliverables

  • Utilizing automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.

  • Developing and maintaining databases and data systems.

  • Performing analysis to assess data quality and meaning.

  • Using statistical tools to identify, analyse, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets.

  • Preparing reports for management and stakeholders, stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data and statistical tools.

  • Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs and to prioritize business and information needs.

  • Proactively analysing data to answer key questions for stakeholders and investigating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity.

  • Creating and maintaining rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis.

  • Defining and implementing data acquisition and integration logic.

  • Identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.

  • Developing and supporting reporting processes.

  • Monitoring and auditing data quality.

  • Gathering, understanding, and documenting detailed business requirements.

  • Follows standardised processes and provides administrative support in line with normal business functioning. 

  • Responds to immediate requirements within procedure. 

  • Uses standard administrative techniques to coordinate own work. 

  • Moderate (intermediate) to high level of technical knowledge.  

  • Partially multi skilled across product and process relevant to the business area.

Professional Qualifications

Industry Qualification
Information And Communication Technology Services A tertiary qualification (advantageous). A minimum of 2 years experience. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Moderate to high level of technical knowledge. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines in a structured environment. A continuous improvement mindset, with a willingness to enhance processes and ways of working. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools such as Excel. Experience with data visualisation tools including Tableau and Power BI. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Insurance industry experience will be beneficial.
