We are seeking to fill the position for Technician for heavy construction machinery to join our client dealing with production of a variety of building materials including building blocks, paving blocks and ballast. The products are made from natural rock using a variety of machines and equipment which include but not limited to a wheel loader and generator. The individual will work closely with the rest of the team to ensure success of the role

The Job 

We’re seeking a Technician to maintain and repair our Heavy Construction Machinery, ensuring equipment uptime and performance. You will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance and repair complex mechanical system.    

1. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with heavy construction equipment e.g wheel loader 
2. Perform routine maintenance tasks. e.g oil changes, filter replacement 
3. Repair and replace mechanical components eg hydraulic system 
4. Conduct inspections and tests to insure equipment functionality.  
5. Use diagnostic tools and equipment’s. 
6. Maintain accuracy records of maintenance and repairs. 
7. Collaborate with operators to identify and resolve equipment issues.
