NoKey Deliverables
- Conduct field demonstrations on best agronomic practices, including crop establishment, maintenance, and yield improvement within assigned sections.
- Train and supervise workers on the correct application of agrochemicals and fertilizers in accordance with recommended agronomic standards.
- Establish nurseries for planting materials ensuring their proper maintenance as per laid down quality standard.
- Educate and provide technical guidance to pluckers on appropriate plucking techniques to maintain optimal leaf quality and plant health.
- Monitor and enforce plucking standards to ensure delivery of high-quality green leaf.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders and authorities on matters relating to tea production, compliance, and agronomic challenges.
- Ensure efficient and proper utilization of assigned resources, including labor, inputs, and equipment.
- Participate in communicating Company policies and operational guidelines to field staff as and when required.
- Ensure strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and sustainable agricultural practices.
- Performing any other duty as may be assigned from time to time
Professional Qualifications

At least 3 years professional experience working as in field extension services to farmers in the tea industry or agricultural production unit. Driving License (Motorbike) Fluency in both English and Kinyarwanda is preferred. Ability to work in a rural setting and under minimal supervision. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good organization skills with the ability to complete assigned tasks with set deadlines. |
