Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Degree or diploma in Social Work
  • Proof of registration with the SACSSP
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in child care and protection
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills
  • Strong conflict management and strategic thinking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency in Afrikaans and English
  • Supervision of Social Service Practitioners
  • Program management and development
  • Human Resource management
  • Liaison with departmental offices, forums and relevant stake holders
  • Representation and negotiation within communities and congregations.
