Job Description

We are recruiting Seasonal Greenhouse Workers for agricultural employment opportunities in Greece. Successful candidates will work in modern greenhouse farms involved in the cultivation and harvesting of tomatoes, cucumbers, flowers, and other horticultural crops. The role requires physically fit individuals who are passionate about agriculture and willing to perform manual tasks in a professional farming environment.

Contract Details
  • Contract Duration: 9 consecutive months (Seasonal Employment: September – June)
  • Working Hours: As per employer schedule and Greek labour regulations
  • Visa Type: Seasonal Work Permit
  • Visa Processing Time: Approximately 2–4 months
  • Accommodation: Provided by the employer

Key Deliverables

  1. Perform greenhouse cultivation activities including planting, harvesting, pruning, and crop maintenance
  2. Carry out manual agricultural work related to tomatoes, cucumbers, flowers, and similar crops
  3. Maintain greenhouse cleanliness and follow employer production standards
  4. Handle crops carefully to ensure quality and minimize losses
  5. Follow workplace safety procedures and agricultural best practices
  6. Work efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  1. Open to both male and female candidates
  2. Age between 26 and 34 years
  3. Minimum 2 years of proven professional experience as a manual agricultural worker
  4. Good physical health and ability to perform demanding manual work
  5. Passion for agriculture and rural life
  6. Willingness to perform simple and repetitive farming tasks
  7. Ability to provide a mandatory video demonstrating similar agricultural work
  8. Financial readiness to cover relocation expenses and associated costs (commission applies)

Special Benefits for this Position

  1. Monthly Net Salary: €900
  2. Approximate Equivalent: KES 134,000 per month
