Job Description

The Sales Representative is responsible for developing and securing sales for a Lapaire branch, by directly contacting potential clients in the field and welcoming customers to the branch to offer them Lapaire services and products. The Sales Representative is the first point of contact between Lapaire and the customer, and their role is therefore essential in establishing an initial relationship of trust. They work daily with the branch team, which includes an optician, and report to the Branch Manager.

Key Deliverables

Develop sales for the optical agency

  • Go directly to meet potential customers in the field, near the agency, or within its immediate vicinity.
  • Carry out targeted customer prospecting activities according to the action plan established by the Branch Manager.

Ensuring a good customer experience from the moment they enter the agency

  • Ensure a high-quality welcome for agency visitors by being available and courteous.
  • Listen, understand, and rephrase the prospect's needs by asking the right questions.
  • Clearly present the Lapaire concept and describe the different offers to prospective clients, answer any questions the client may have

Supporting the customer throughout their purchasing journey

  • Use your knowledge to explain the benefits of eyeglasses
  • Advising customers on their choice of frames
  • Advise customers on their choice by explaining the differences between the various types of lenses.
  • Maintain the relationship with the customer until the glasses are delivered.
  • To correctly record prospects and sales in the CRM software, and to participate in customer payment collection;

Ensuring optimal comfort for our customers in the branch

  • Ensure the proper arrangement and cleanliness of the frame shelves to showcase our products.
  • Ensure the overall cleanliness and comfort of the agency

Professional Qualifications

Industry Qualification
Business Development, Sales, Marketing and Retail Minimum of two years of post-secondary education in Business Administration or similar field Experience in sales or customer service is highly valued, however motivated beginners with a desire to learn and progress quickly are welcome. The candidate must be very comfortable with new technologies, mobile applications and tablet software!
