CBL is seeking to appoint an experienced Sales Representative based at our Klerksdorp Distribution Centre.  The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing existing customers and developing new business opportunities within the Northwest region.

Key Deliverables

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers in the catering, restaurant, hotel and hospitality sectors
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the region
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the company
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships in a competitive market
  • Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate customer records
  • Travel extensively within the Northwest region to visit customers

Essential Qualities

  • Standard 10/or Equivalent
  • At least 5 years’ sales experience in FMCG, preferably bread.
  • Prepared to call in all markets segments
  • Prepared to work abnormal hours – 6 day week.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Able to work independently
  • Team player
  • Able to communicate with customers
  • Able to work with drivers and assistants and all internal customers
  • Education: Post-secondary diploma in related fields
  • Experience: No required experience
  • Skills: Active listening, speaking, persuasion, negotiation, critical thinking
  • Knowledge Areas: Sales and marketing, customer and personal service, computers and electronics
  • Technology Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Zoom
  • Language Proficiency: English
