The upcoming CSP reflects Uganda’s evolving national development priorities under Vision 2040 and places renewed focus on WFP’s Changing Lives agenda — including resilience-building, social protection, and food systems strengthening.

To deliver effectively in this new landscape, WFP must expand and diversify its partnership base, with a strong emphasis on mobilizing long-term development financing and establishing deeper engagement with government and International Financial Institutions (IFIs).

The National Technical Advisor will play a central role in positioning WFP Uganda as a key humanitarian and development partner, providing tailored messaging and intelligence to position WFP’s value proposition to Government, IFIs, development partners and decision-makers.

Reporting to the Country Director, the incumbent will work in close collaboration with senior management, technical units, and regional/global partnership offices to deepen Government and donor engagement, reinforce WFP’s value proposition, and identify funding avenues.
