Sunplast is a leading plastic manufacturing company in Nigeria with almost 30 years experience in the plastic manufacturing industry. Sun Group entered into the Plastics industry through the acquisition of a plant in Sango Ota, Ogun State in 1991. A second plant was installed and commissioned in 2000 in Lagos. In 2015 both plants were merged under one roof in Ogun State. The plants, which operate under the names Bright Products Limited and Sunplast Industries Limited, are equipped with top-of-the-line injection molding machines from China, India and Taiwan. Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Personnel Manager to join our team and oversee effective workforce administration, employee relations, and HR operations within our steel manufacturing environment.

- Manage day-to-day personnel and HR administrative activities across the plant.
- Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, leave, overtime, and shift schedules.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, deployment, and exit processes.
- Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, discipline, and compliance with company policies.
- Manage employee relations and support the resolution of workplace grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Partner with Production and Operations Managers to ensure adequate manpower for shifts and production activities.
- Support performance management, employee engagement, training, and development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics for management decision-making.
- Liaise with relevant government agencies and external stakeholders on personnel-related matters.
- Maintain a positive and productive work environment across the plant.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and processes.
