The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) was established by the Government of Kenya on the 14th of January 2013 under an Act of Parliament-Act No.4 of 2013, to provide research based curricula and curriculum support materials responsive to the needs of the society.

Key Deliverables

  • Managing office correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls
  • Organizing and maintaining filing systems (both physical and electronic)
  • Monitoring office supplies and placing orders when necessary
  • Ensuring office equipment is functional and arranging repairs when needed
  • Handling confidential documents with discretion
  • Managing databases and updating information regularly
  • Welcoming visitors and responding to inquiries professionally

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -
  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Business Administration; Office Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Computer literacy; and
  • Fulfill the requirement of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
