Key Deliverables

  • Stock and Equipment Management: Maintain adequate stock levels in coordination with the Medical Logistics Officer; update electronic inventory systems; conduct stock takes and cycle counts; oversee weekly equipment readiness checks; ensure proper medication supply and storeroom temperature monitoring.
  • * Administrative Duties: Create and manage work and deployment schedules; review operational checklists and escalate issues; manage crew rosters via Air Maestro; monitor certificate validity in the Safety Management System; coordinate visas and travel; assist in SACAA, EURAMI, and internal audits.
  • Operational Support: Assist Medical Crew in aircraft and equipment preparation for MEDEVAC missions; liaise with the Liaison Officer on special equipment needs; support patient transitions; assist Medical Crew to restock and reset aircraft to full mission ready status (this includes, but is not limited to, restocking of equipment and medication bags as well as aircraft preparation); ensure PRFs are completed and submitted within 24 hours after mission completion.
  • * Communication and Team Culture: Maintain effective communication across Medical Crew, Medical Operations Manager, Medical Director, and Liaison Officer; assist in conflict resolution; promote a culture of respect, open dialogue, and team cohesion. Creating and inspiring a team environment with an open communication culture by all team members.

Professional Qualifications

Industry Qualification
Medical / Health Care And Social Assistance Clinical exposure with more than 5 years post-graduation Management/team Leading experience Hands-on knowledge of SACAA Part 138 regulations and prior aeromedical experience (Fixed-Wing and/or Rotary-Wing) Registered as a Paramedic or Emergency Care Practitioner with HPCSA or equivalent international certification (e.g. EMT-P).

  • Inventory and Data Accuracy: Proficient in stock control principles and electronic systems, with high accuracy in data entry, inventory tracking, and record keeping.
  • Organizational Skills: Able to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a well-organized storage and equipment environment.
  • Policy Implementation: Skilled in reviewing SOPs, recommending improvements, and supporting implementation through positive reinforcement.
