ACTED is an international humanitarian NGO under French law, present in the Democratic Republic of Congo since 2003. The organization currently operates in more than five provinces through seven operational offices and has more than 500 permanent employees.

ACTED implements multi-sectoral humanitarian programs, particularly in the areas of Water, Hygiene and Sanitation (WASH), Food Security and Livelihoods, agricultural recovery, infrastructure, education, protection, and camp management. The organization also develops civil society capacity-building projects and implements activities within the REACH research initiative.

Context and mission:

The consortium MEAL manager ensures the implementation of a robust and harmonized MEAL strategy across the various consortium partners, notably through the development of tools and indicators. They are responsible for producing high-quality MEAL documents, finalized on time for the entire consortium. The consortium MEAL manager supervises and leads the MEAL working group and, when necessary, trains the partners' MEAL teams on the consortium's indicators and tools. They also ensure that lessons learned are documented and shared.
