Key Deliverables

Field Marketing & Field Activations

  • Prospecting: Organize and supervise flyering/prospecting activities in the field to raise awareness of visual health.
  • Awareness campaigns: Coordinate visual health awareness days with partners (businesses, churches, schools, etc.).
  • Promoter management: Recruit, brief and coach "street marketing" teams to ensure a powerful sales pitch.
  • Local partnerships: Helping to secure agreements with local businesses to bring their employees into the store.
  • Brand visibility: ensuring the Lapaire brand remains visible at all times (street marketing uniforms, branding events, distribution of promotional items, etc.)

Retail Marketing & Customer Experience

  • Marketing plan deployment: deploy the promotional marketing plan locally while respecting the associated budgets and schedules.
  • Merchandising: Ensure that merchandising is always available and well placed within our branches, that the various displays are placed in the right location, etc.
  • Store Events: Create sales events to generate traffic in the branch, act as a relay for communication campaigns to bring them to life in the branch (e.g., Women's Day, Back to School, etc.).
  • Field Audit: Visit points of sale very regularly to verify that the customer experience is identical everywhere (reception, cleanliness, presentation of frames) and ensure that street marketing actions are relevant and effective.
  • Materials management: Order, store and distribute all marketing & communication materials (e.g. flyers, banners, outdoor signage).

Local & Digital Communication

  • Media Campaigns: Execute group communication campaigns locally. Select the most effective media in Kinshasa to promote Lapaire (local radio, neighborhood billboards, digital screens).
  • Media relations: networking, making contact and negotiating our media appearances; setting up regular media appearances.
  • Social Media: Create "local" content (photos of customers in store, video testimonials in Lingala/French) to feed Lapaire's Facebook/Instagram pages.
  • Agency Openings: Manage the communication surrounding the launch of a new store from A to Z (media coverage, sound caravans, inauguration).
  • Reporting: Analyze the return on investment of various marketing and communication actions to adjust your marketing and communication action proposals. Ensure optimal and transparent communication with Headquarters (Marketing/Communication/Operations).

Professional Qualifications

Industry Qualification
Business Development, Sales, Marketing and Retail Minimum of 3 years of higher education in Marketing, Communication or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, either at an agency or client-side. We are looking for someone with experience in field activations (events, telecom, distribution, FMCG). Prior experience in an operational or field role is a plus. Proficiency in marketing/communication project management. Comfortable with digital tools (Google Suite, Excel, PowerPoint…). Aptitude for sales and field activations. Personal qualities for success Negotiation and persuasion: ability to obtain the best partnerships and services/products from suppliers. Managerial capacity: ability to lead a team of promoters. Organization and rigor: excellent monitoring of tasks and projects. Results-oriented: a successful marketing action is one that generates sales. Motivation and ambition: a constant pursuit of excellence. Adaptability and responsiveness: comfortable in a dynamic environment, you love being in the field above all.
