Professional Qualifications

Industry Qualification
Procurement, Logistics , Supply Chain Management Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/transportation cordination, Supply Chain Management,Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management. Strong organizational and planning skills. Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems is an added advantage. Must travel locally to meet transporters Strong follow-up and accountability

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in logistics, including at least 2 years in a position of responsibility, ideally within an international NGO . Required ;
  • Proven experience in supply chain management (purchasing, transport, inventory management) Required;
  • Experience in general resources management (buildings, fleet, energy, water, equipment);
  • Experience in supervising and managing a logistics team is required ;
  • Good knowledge of local markets and suppliers;
  • Proven skills in planning, budget monitoring and analysis of logistics indicators;
  • Proficiency in computer tools: Office suite (advanced Excel preferred), logistics tracking tools and information systems;
  • Basic knowledge of ICT, telecommunications and networks;
  • Good understanding of the safety rules applicable to logistics operations.
  • Good level of French, both written and spoken; proficiency in local languages ​​(Tshiluba, Lingala) is an asset.
  • A basic level of English is an asset.
  • Demonstrated abilities in leadership, organization and decision-making;
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and manage emergencies;
