Abia State University, Uturu (ABSU) is a distinguished public university located in Uturu, Abia State, Nigeria. Established in 1981 as Imo State University, Etiti, it was relocated to Uturu and renamed following the creation of Abia State in 1991. ABSU has grown to become one of the leading state-owned institutions in Nigeria, known for academic excellence, research, and community development.
