University of Kabianga is located in Kabianga Division in Kericho West District. The University is situated in the Kabianga Complex, comprising the then Kabianga Framers Training Center, Kabianga High School and Primary School and the Kipsigis County Council Tea Farm.

Key Deliverables

  • PhD degree in History of Education from a recognized and accredited University.
  • Master’s degree in History of Education from a recognized and accredited University.
  • Three (3) years teaching experience at university level or in research or in industry.
  • At least two (2) publications in refereed journals or two (2) book chapters in relevant areas
  • Registered with relevant professional body (where applicable)

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Teach and assess courses in one’s discipline at both undergraduate and postgraduate Level
  • Supervise undergraduate projects and other experiential learning programs
  • Supervise dissertations/theses at the graduate level.
  • Participate in the development of undergraduate and postgraduate courses
  • Initiate, promote and participate in research projects
  • Provide professional and community services and initiate linkages and fundraising.
  • Carry out administrative and other duties & responsibilities as may be assigned
