Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Finance Specialist, the incumbent of this position will be responsible for supporting supervisors and colleagues in the office by managing and executing various financial, professional and technical transactions and procedures, applying theoretical skills and a thorough knowledge of the Organization's goals, objectives, rules, regulations, policies and procedures to accomplish tasks.

| International Relations, Development, Humanitarian Management | Academic background: A university degree in accounting, financial management, business administration, economics, or a related financial field is required. Formal additional training in finance/accounting may be accepted if the university degree is not in a related financial field. A CIPFA diploma is accepted in lieu of a relevant university degree or its equivalent. Experience : A minimum of two years of professional experience in financial management, business administration, economics, accounting or auditing is required. Experience in an international organization and/or a large company is preferred. Experience in a United Nations agency or organization, some of which have served in a developing country, is considered an asset. Experience in HACT, cash assistance programs and digital payment systems with financial service providers is considered a major asset. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with database software, online management systems and ERP systems (ideally SAP financial modules) is considered an asset. Knowledge of IPSAS and/or IFRS accounting standards is also considered an advantage. Language : Fluency in French (spoken and written) is required, as well as a good knowledge of English.
