. Help answer a wide range of complex human resources questions and follow up on actions taken to ensure that the human resources services provided are consistent and effective.
2. Allocate responsibilities and contribute to the on-the-job training and development of less experienced support staff members, to ensure that they have adequate knowledge of human resource management systems and procedures enabling them to perform their duties and thus contribute to the provision of effective human resource services.
3. Determine the evolving needs of the organization and recommend changes to human resource management processes and procedures to facilitate the improvement of human resource services .
4. Analyze and respond to various internal and external issues to ensure that service beneficiaries are properly informed and that the activities carried out by the human resources team are consistent with WFP's broader objectives.
5. Examine and group various data, including on the recruitment and selection of staff members, contractual conditions, entitlement to benefits, performance and training obligations , and staffing levels , to facilitate analysis and meet information needs .
6. Support the activities carried out in the areas of work assigned by the competent administrator, respecting the applicable processes and procedures.
7. Facilitate the integration of new staff members joining WFP to ensure that applicable procedures are followed and that those concerned have been informed of and understand the terms of employment.
8. Draft various complex human resources documents that are essential to the field of activity in question (employment contracts, transfer or termination letters, training documents, etc.), ensuring their accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
9. Use human resource management systems to enter and update various human resource data, including tracking different deadlines (contract expiry dates, staff evaluation and rating dates, etc.), ensuring adherence to deadlines and accuracy of information.
10. Coordinate the management of confidential personnel files as well as human resources databases and archives to ensure that data and files are stored and updated correctly in accordance with established standards .
11. Supervise the deployment of staff and manage related administrative measures, such as reporting , to enhance the efficiency of human resource management services and enable WFP to respond quickly in the event of a crisis .
