Job Description
To develop and implement effective Human Resource and Administration strategies, policies, and systems that ensure compliance with organisational norms, enhance staff productivity, and improve overall business competitiveness.

HR Strategy, Policy & Compliance
• Develop the company’s HR strategy and structure in liaison with departmental heads to support business goals.
• Provide leadership in the formulation, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures in compliance with labour laws and global best practices.
• Ensure all HR practices adhere to statutory requirements, organisational values, and industrial relations frameworks.
Talent Acquisition & Employee Relations
• Lead recruitment efforts to attract, assess, and hire qualified and suitable employees to drive operational excellence.
• Oversee effective employee relations, including handling disciplinary cases and grievances in compliance with legal and policy frameworks.
• Maintain a secure and efficient system for storing and retrieving employee records and sensitive information.
Compensation, Benefits & Job Evaluation
• Conduct regular job grading reviews and salary benchmarking to maintain an equitable and competitive compensation structure.
• Design and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits schemes that attract and retain talent.
• Administer employee insurance schemes: ensure timely renewal, claims processing, and accurate record-keeping.
Performance Management & Capacity Building
• Work with department heads to set clear, measurable performance targets aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the development of staff training, development, and succession planning programs based on assessed competency needs.
• Create systems that reward performance, promote staff development, and encourage career growth.
Administration & Budget Management
• Develop and manage the departmental budget to ensure prudent resource utilisation.
• Lead administrative functions such as office management, records control, and general support services.
• Develop a risk assessment framework for the HR and Administration department to manage operational and compliance risks effectively.
Regulatory & Stakeholder Engagement
• Interface with government and quasi-government agencies to ensure full compliance with labour laws, statutory regulations, and other legal requirements.
• Prepare and present periodic HR and administrative reports, including end-of-year company reports, to Management for review and action.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • A Master's degree or relevant HR professional certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRM, CIPD) is an added advantage. • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role. • Solid knowledge of labour laws, organisational behaviour, performance management, and HR systems. • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. • High-level analytical and problem-solving ability. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Sound knowledge of HR software and systems. • Strategic thinking and ability to align HR with business goals.
