Job Description
Under the hierarchical supervision of the Great Lakes Desk, based at the French Red Cross (FRC) headquarters, the Head of Delegation for the DRC will be responsible for the coordination and strategic positioning of the delegation and will ensure the quality of the programs implemented and the management of financial and logistical resources. Responsible for security, the Head of Delegation ensures that the staff under their supervision respect and understand the Support and Services Agreement between the ICRC and the FRC. They are also responsible for maintaining good partnership relations with the Red Cross of the DRC, as well as with other components of the Red Cross Movement present in the DRC.

HIERARCHICAL AND FUNCTIONAL LINKS
- Hierarchical link: Provided by the head of the Great Lakes geographic desk, in Paris.
- Operational link: Manages all national and expatriate staff of the mission. The Head of Delegation directly manages two expatriates (Deputy Head of Delegation for Programs, Administrative/Financial Coordinator). The Regional Auditor (covering the DRC and Burundi) reports hierarchically to the Head of the Audit Department at headquarters, but is under the operational and security management responsibility of the Head of Delegation. The Regional Auditor also directly supervises the delegation's logistics department (with a national logistics deputy), as well as the staff of the liaison office in Kinshasa.

- The governance and national executive of the Congolese Red Cross and the Red Cross of the DRC
