Location: Abuja / Port Harcourt - Rivers / Warri  - Delta

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), or Finance Director.

Direct Reports: Accountants, Financial Analysts, Payroll, and Accounts Payable/Receivable teams.

Summary

• A Head of Finance leads the day-to-day financial operations, planning, and reporting of an organization while guiding its overall financial health and advising executive leadership.

Primary Objective

• Ensure fiscal stability, accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and data-driven business growth.

Financial Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement long-term financial strategies, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts.
• Build and maintain financial models for revenue forecasting, pricing, and profitability analysis.

Financial Operations & Reporting:

• Oversee general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Prepare accurate statutory, regulatory, and management financial statements.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management:

• Manage working capital, liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and bank relationships.
• Oversee capital expenditure planning and vendor/procurement

Risk Management & Compliance:

• Establish and enforce internal controls, financial policies, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations, and audit requirements (working with internal/external auditors)
