Job Description

As Grants Coordinator, you will be responsible for PUI's programs. You will ensure that grant proposals, donor reports, and internal reports address identified needs in the country and are consistent with PUI's overall strategy. Furthermore, you will work to produce high-quality documentation on time, in accordance with donor requirements and organizational guidelines, contributing to a continuous learning and capacity-building process, particularly for national staff.1

Key Deliverables

Funding Strategy: You will contribute to the development of the fundraising strategy for the entire national program by assessing existing funding sources in the country and donor strategies.

Grant Management: You will be the focal point for program design and proposal development, donor reporting, donor guidelines analysis, grant information management, and grant management capacity building efforts.

Internal reporting, institutional knowledge management and capacity building: You will be responsible for monitoring calls for proposals and funding awarded to ensure well-designed projects, quality funding applications and reporting submissions to donors, as well as compliance with donors and sub-grants for all projects.

Special Benefits for this Position

  • Training

You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a field related to project management, international development and/or social sciences.

  • Experience

You have at least two years of experience working for an NGO in grant management, program development, or grant compliance. Have you previously worked with Première Urgence Internationale? That would be a definite asset!

  • SKILLS

You demonstrate strong skills in drafting and coordinating high-quality proposals for major donors and possess a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations of key institutional donors (e.g., ECHO, BPRM, DFID, CDC, AFD, UNICEF, and UNHCR). You are capable of writing, revising, and editing narrative and financial reports and demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
