The position

1. Main mission

The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for the overall management of the establishment's food and beverage services. He or she ensures guest satisfaction, service quality, and operational profitability. The manager supervises teams, coordinates activities, and contributes to the establishment's image and reputation.

  • Operations Management
  • Oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage services.
  • Ensure the implementation and compliance with quality, hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient service.

  • Recruit, train and supervise food and beverage service staff.
  • Organize work schedules and ensure that positions are covered according to needs.
  • Motivate and supervise teams to maintain a high level of performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Manage raw material inventories and supplies.
  • Control costs and budgets allocated to food and beverage services.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and conditions.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Bac+3 level diploma or higher in hotel management, catering, management or related field.
  • Training in food and beverage services management is an asset.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar position, ideally in the hotel or restaurant sector.
  • Experience in team management and coordination of food and beverage services is required.
  • Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.

Technical skills:

  • Proficiency in food and beverage operations management techniques.
  • Ability to use inventory and order management software.
  • Knowledge of budget and cost management methods.
  • Mastery of negotiation techniques with suppliers.
