Key Deliverables

  • Manage the organization's finance, accounting, reporting, budgeting, and administrative functions.
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and profitability analyses.
  • Develop financial models to support business planning, projects, investments, and expansion initiatives.
  • Monitor project and business performance against approved budgets and financial projections.
  • Oversee cash flow, payroll, statutory remittances, bank reconciliations, receivables, payables, and expenditure control.
  • Strengthen internal controls, financial procedures, documentation, and compliance processes.
  • Support procurement, project teams, and operations with financial analysis and cost control.
  • Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with applicable financial and statutory regulations.
  • Supervise finance and administration staff while ensuring efficient office administration and asset management.
  • Provide management with timely financial insights, business performance reports, and recommendations for informed decision-making.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • HND, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years relevant finance, accounting, or administration experience, including 3–5 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, ANAN, CPA, CIMA, CFA, or FMVA will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, financial modeling, profitability analysis, payroll, taxation, statutory compliance, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, Odoo, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in agriculture, construction, project finance, operations, manufacturing, or multi-site environments will be an advantage.
