Job Description
Assist in project coordination between farmers, extension and BioSSA researchers with the assigned cluster.
· Assist with layout, planting and management of the trails
· Collect plant and soil data from established trials.
· Keep proper records of demonstration plots and the recorded data.
· Submit weekly report on the demonstration trials to BioSSA scientists.
· Arrange field visits to the demonstration trials as directed by BioSSA project Coordinator
· Train farmers in proper handling and application of effective bio-input products.
· Any other duties that may be assigned by project management.

Professional Qualifications

| Agriculture, Apiculture, Agronomy, Forestry, Fishing And Hunting | Relevant work experience in agricultural research of at least 3 years. · Good understanding of the maize and beans cropping system in Tanzania. · Ability to work with and maintain a good relationship with famers. · A good Knowledge of farming systems in Siha District · Be a good team player and highly self-motivated. |
