Desired profile:

We are recruiting a Cost Estimator to strengthen our team. Your main responsibility will be to accurately calculate the costs and selling prices of printed products using computer tools and reliable numerical methods. Your work will also include customer service, order taking, negotiation with clients, persuasive communication, and finding solutions for them. You must be able to convince clients to buy from you. This requires an enthusiastic approach. You must be able to speak and read English at an intermediate level.

Key Deliverables

  • Receive and analyze quote requests (formats, papers, finishes, quantities, deadlines).
  • Calculate the cost prices (materials, labor, machine time, subcontracting) and propose selling prices.
  • Optimize quantities and taxes to reduce costs and improve margins.
  • Drafting offers, sending them to sales representatives/clients and ensuring follow-up until the order.
  • Update the databases (paper prices, consumables, standard times).
  • Collaborating with production to validate technical feasibility and deadlines.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of quoting processes.
  • Customer service

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Degree in mathematics, statistics, economics/business or equivalent.
  • Strong skills in calculation, logic and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel (formulas, pivot tables, accuracy in files), Internet and email.
  • Business acumen and profit margin awareness; rigor, speed of execution, reliability, team spirit.
  • Experience in quoting/estimating (industry, printing or similar environment) is an asset — motivated young graduates welcome.
