Key Deliverables

Database Development: Deploy XLSform and CommCare electronic forms for data collection and design specific databases as needed; Regularly back up and update data from all project components on SharePoint. Development of Data Collection and Sharing Tools: Support the Senior Database Management Officer in designing data collection tools; Support the Senior Database Management Officer in developing Excel/Power BI dashboards synchronized with the CommCare server that provide the information necessary to monitor business activity. Provide direct support to the program. Assist the Senior Database Management Officer in producing and organizing lists.Issuing tokens and/or coupons to targeted participants in the field; Providing ad hoc services at the supervisor's request and supporting partners in resolving ICT4D (technology for development) related issues; Managing and maintaining all ICT4D equipment (Androids and biometric tools, depending on available funds) and ensuring they are in good working order according to Mercy Corps' asset management policies and procedures; Regularly reviewing data entered into the database with the support of the Senior Database Officer to identify and resolve issues with data entry or the entire database; Regularly accompanying program teams in the field to ensure that all elements of the digital data collection system are used effectively by all stakeholders and to assess and identify problems, as well as areas requiring clarification and improvement; Conducting physical checks and managing related complaints in the field during distributions of cash, food, NFIs, etc. Produce intervention statistics following distributions of cash, food, NFIs, etc.; Produce periodic reports detailing problems encountered and appropriate solutions; Archive all project documents (electronically and in hard copy) in a manner that meets PM@MC minimum standards; PROTECTION RESPONSIBILITIES: Actively learns about protection and integrates it into their work, including risk protection and mitigation measures related to their area of ​​work. Practices Mercy Corps values, including respect for the dignity and well-being of participants and other team members. Encourages openness and communication within their team; encourages team members to submit reports if they have concerns using reporting mechanisms, such as the Integrity Hotline and other options. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY Reports directly to: Senior Database Management Officer - Emergencies Works directly with: Emergency Department sector staff (Cash, WASH, Protection and MEL), Operations, Finance, Security and HR staff. ACCOUNTABILITY TO PARTICIPANTS AND STAKEHOLDERS Mercy Corps team members must support all accountability efforts, particularly towards participants in our programs, community partners, other stakeholders and the international standards guiding international relief and development work. Professional Qualifications

Industry Qualification
Data Processing, Hosting, And Related Services Degree in computer science, statistics or equivalent; Relevant experience of at least one year in database management, preferably with an international NGO; Good knowledge of data collection and analysis tools such as ODK/KoboCollect (XlsForm), CommCare, QGIS, PowerBI; Good knowledge of computer tools: Word, Excel, Access; Programming knowledge and/or experience; Proficiency in written and spoken French. Knowledge of English is an asset; Skills in setting up and implementing methodologies for collecting quantitative and qualitative data according to the indicators in place are essential; Good skills and experience in analyzing and managing computer databases.
