URGENT HIRING | Economic Development Reporting Specialist

📍 Sandton | 💰 R50,000/month | 📅 12-Month Contract

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven professional to join our team, reporting directly to the Head. This role is responsible for managing Economic Development Reporting, ensuring full compliance with reporting obligations, and supporting budgeting and planning processes. The successful candidate will also oversee BBBEE compliance across all company entities and SPVs.

Key Deliverables

  • Prepare ED bid responses and strategic concepts
  • Analyse project obligations and advise senior leadership
  • Monitor compliance and report to internal & external stakeholders
  • Compile monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual reports for the Department of Energy
  • Conduct gap analyses and implement corrective actions
  • Manage Annexure A & B reporting and verification
  • Track SED & ED spend and revenue data
  • Maintain audit-ready records and supporting documentation
  • Liaise with auditors and IPP Office
  • Train subcontractors on reporting requirements
  • Lead BBBEE compliance strategy
  • Present performance reports to Construction & Operations teams

Professional Qualifications

Industry Qualification
Strategic Planning BCom in Economics (Post-graduate advantageous) Experience reporting to Project Office IPPO Advanced MS Excel skills; SAP knowledge advantageous Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills Ability to travel regularly Deadline-driven, proactive, and self-managed
