MSI DRC , the newest national program in the MSI network, has been providing SR services since November 2018 in Kinshasa and Tshopo province. Its activities have since expanded to Kwilu, Kongo Central, and Kwango. The goal: to guarantee access to affordable modern contraception services for all who wish it.

Key Deliverables

  • Responsible driving of the vehicle in compliance with MSI DRC standards and the Congolese highway code
  • Ensures the maintenance and upkeep of the vehicle and reports any anomalies
  • Evaluate the routes and determine the best itinerary based on road conditions and weather conditions
  • Manages the logbook (fuel consumption, MSI RDC dashboard) for each trip
  • Ensures the vehicle is kept clean daily and its safety is ensured when parked.
  • Performs minor basic repairs and replaces common wear parts
  • Writes accident reports and keeps a vehicle maintenance/incident log
  • Ensures that all onboard documents are complete and up to date
2Active member of the mobile team
  • Loading and unloading the vehicle with equipment for field activities
  • Works closely with health center teams to prepare counselling and services
  • Follow all MSI infection prevention procedures
  • Provides transportation and support for creating demand for SR services in communities
  • Promotes MSI DRC's services to clients and the community
  • Provides a warm welcome to clients and respects their confidentiality
3Liaison Officer
  • Welcomes staff and official visitors during missions
  • Ensures the transmission of mail and the reproduction of documents for the team
  • Performs any logistical or administrative task that may lighten the team's workload.
  • Represent MSI DRC professionally and courteously in all circumstances
🎓 Required profile
(Essential) qualifications
  • State diploma
  • Full driver's license with up-to-date medical certificate
  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience in driving automobiles
  • Good physical condition — frequent travel
  • Good knowledge of the Congolese highway code
  • Good knowledge of automotive mechanics
+Skills & Experience
  • Experience in IEC/CCC (preferred)
  • Knowledge of MSI DRC's intervention sites
  • Good communication and facilitation skills
  • Computer skills — MS Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Knowledge of French and local languages ​​(Swahili, Lingala)
