About the Role

We seek a Junior IT operations Technician, 1-2 years of relevant experience in end-user support, endpoint hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. You will collaborate with the Endpoint Management, Networks, and Service Desk teams to support staff at our Mubende office. You will be part of the IT Operations team and will report to the Growth Countries IT Operations Lead.

Key Deliverables

  • You will adhere to IT policies, processes, and guidelines
  • You will resolve technical incidents and service requests within service level agreements.
  • You will comply to endpoints and network processes
  • You will execute IT support exercises (ex: preventative maintenance, inventory data cleanup etc.)
  • You will engage with non-technical OAF team members to conduct IT-related training.
  • You will engage with external providers like internet providers and IT vendors.
  • You will initiate and participate in IT improvement projects.

Essential Qualities

  • 1-2 years of experience in IT user support, software, computer hardware and network support.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or any related course.
  • Experience working with Windows and Android hardware and software.
  • Experience working with Routers, Access Points and computer networks.
