To manage and coordinate all telephonic communication and systems within the hospital in a professional manner to ensure efficient and effective communication on behalf of Mediclinic

Key Deliverables

Operate the hospital Telephone system daily as per policy and procedure

Attend to all calls timeously in a professional manner ensuring that client expectations are exceeded

Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained as per policy and procedure

Check the Hospital alarm system daily and notify the relevant department in case of an emergency as per the Alarm Emergency Manual

Follow the Hospital Emergency Preparedness Process in the event of an emergency as per Disaster and Emergency Plan

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Hospital Disaster and Emergency processes; procedures and policies
  • Switchboard systems and operations
