Job Description

The Technical Writer will be responsible for developing comprehensive user and implementation documentation for Kuja’s ERP platform, built on Odoo and tailored for NGO operational needs. This role involves translating system features and workflows into clear, structured, and user-friendly guides, training manuals, and quick reference materials. The consultant will collaborate closely with Kuja’s technical and functional teams to ensure documentation supports effective adoption by client organizations and internal staff.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in technical writing for software systems, preferably ERP or enterprise applications.
  • Proven ability to produce clear, structured, and user-friendly documentation for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Odoo experience highly desirable).
  • Experience working in technology startups, SaaS companies, or tech-focused organizations preferred.
  • Certification or formal training in Technical Writing (e.g., STC, UC Extension, or Google Technical Writing) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of NGO operations or donor-funded project environments preferred.
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills; proficiency with documentation tools such as Draw.io,
  • Lucidchart, Sphinx, or Confluence.
