As part of the construction of a 200 MW photovoltaic solar power plant coupled with a battery storage system of more than 500 MWh, it is seeking a Panel Installation Team Leader responsible for coordinating and supervising the teams of fitters and installers, ensuring that the mechanical installation of the photovoltaic structures and panels is carried out in accordance with the defined technical, safety and quality standards.

Key Deliverables

  • Preparation and organization
  • Review the plans, diagrams and technical instructions before starting work.
  • Organize the teams and distribute daily tasks according to the schedule defined by the Project Manager.
  • Check the availability of the equipment, tools and materials needed to install the panels.
  • Identify and report any need for reinforcement or adjustment of resources.
  • Supervision of panel installation
  • Supervise the installation of metal structures and the assembly of photovoltaic panels.
  • Ensure that the installations comply with technical standards, the approved design and project standards.
  • Check the quality of the work performed and correct any non-conformities.
  • Ensuring the safety of operations, particularly for work at height.
  • Coordination and communication
  • Ensure daily communication with the Project Manager regarding the progress of the work.
  • Coordinate activities with other teams, particularly those in charge of cabling and BESS.
  • Participate in site meetings and pass on instructions to the field teams.
  • HSE monitoring
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE rules on the construction site.
  • Report any incident or accident immediately to the Project Manager and the HSE Manager.
  • Ensure that all team members have PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and use it correctly.
  • Participate in safety briefings and emergency drills.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • You hold a Baccalaureate or Bac+2 level diploma (Construction, Mechanics or Electricity).
  • You have significant experience of at least 5 years in industrial or solar construction projects, including 2 years as a Team Leader. You are proficient in the techniques for assembling structures and photovoltaic panels, using lifting equipment, and reading blueprints. Knowledge of DC/AC cabling is an asset.
  • You possess strong leadership and team management and planning skills. You are known for your responsiveness and ability to quickly resolve operational issues, while ensuring effective communication.
  • Awareness and practical experience with HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) standards in an industrial setting are mandatory. Certifications such as CACES or working at heights are valued.
