Job Description
As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting operations in the head office and branches within the framework and policies of the IT department. The Systems Administrator’s position involves supervising, monitoring system performance, and configuring new software and hardware. To work with escalated tickets and solution requests that need attention, maintaining system or software administration, network infrastructure, hardware maintenance, and setting up scopes. This role is critical as this individual directly affects the capabilities of smooth and continuous business operations.

- IT support and system administration
- Implementation and maintenance of the Watu systems & Application and administration of the environment.
- System change log documentation and user training.
- Responsible for ensuring systems backup and retention procedures as well as backup and restoration test documentation and reporting
- To ensure the high availability of systems avoiding any potential operations downtime.
- Completing system installs and upgrades. Installing new systems and implementing upgrades as needed. Conducting consistent analyses of a company’s computer systems to determine if existing components meet the company’s needs and perform upgrades or updates as needed.
- Technical support and maintenance of the company’s IT equipment – such as printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Support the local call center system and follow up with structure, integration, and troubleshooting in the company’s call center system solution.
- Adjusting and implementing ICT policies and procedures for the company and departments.
- Participation in the Implementation and maintenance of the company network infrastructure and endpoint security
- Performing regular HW and SW inventories and assessments of employee/department/management needs, evaluation of the administration and user rights, and performance tests.
- Work closely with business in relevant systems project management – budgeting, pipelining, distribution of tasks, team alignment, follow-ups, and reports.
- Investigation and implementation of new tools and systems according to department and process needs.
- Managing incident reporting and investigations
- Working hand in hand with the IT Manager, and other involved departments as well as third parties to reach the set objectives.
