A company in the aviation and hospitality training industry is looking for a Student Services and Facilities Manager. This position is on site and based in Benoni on the East Rand

Key Deliverables

1.    Petty cash, debtors and creditors, VAT, Payroll and HR administration

2.    Coordinate reservations, check-ins, and check-outs

3.    Ensure compliance with health and safety and hygiene standards

4.    Implement and enforce student accommodation policies and procedures

5.    Maintain inventory, manage budgets and implement cost-control measures

6.    Handle student inquiries, concerns and complaints promptly and professionally

7.    Collaborate with vendors, suppliers and contractors to maintain facilities and services

8.    Oversee the maintenance function across all rooms, classrooms, food court and public areas, ensuring that each area is in working order.

9.    Oversee the kitchen, tuck shop and takeaway. Maintain stock levels and assist to design new menus from time to time

10. Oversee functions i.e. graduations

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  1. Minimum qualification matric
  2. Payroll, and basic accounting skills and experience
  3. Excellent communication, planning and coordinating skills
  4. Attention to detail.
  5. English speaking
  6. Knowledge of health and safety legislation will be advantageous.
  7. Inventory and vendor management skills
  8. Event management skills
