The Stationary Engineer will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing stationary equipment and systems, including boilers, chillers, generators, and HVAC systems, ensuring efficient and safe operations.

- Operate and maintain stationary engines and mechanical equipment such as steam boilers, air compressors, generators, and HVAC systems to supply utilities or other industrial services.
- Monitor and inspect equipment for proper functioning through daily readings, adjustments, and troubleshooting to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
- Conduct routine maintenance, including cleaning, repairing, and replacing parts on boilers, pumps, refrigeration units, compressors, and other mechanical systems.
- Start, stop, regulate, and monitor the performance of power generation and distribution systems, including chilled water systems, fuel systems, and steam systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot air handling units, chillers, cooling towers, and associated controls to optimize performance.
- Perform inspections of systems and adhere to preventative maintenance schedules to reduce equipment breakdowns and extend operational life.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements, including local laws and applicable U.S. government and military regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and repairs using equipment logs and work orders.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly by making necessary adjustments and repairs to damaged or failing systems.
- Assist in planning and implementing upgrades or replacements of aging equipment and systems to meet modern efficiency and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other engineering staff and management to ensure the timely resolution of issues and completion of tasks.

| Engineering And Technical | Minimum Requirements: 3-5 years of relevant experience operating, maintaining, and repairing stationary engines and mechanical equipment, including boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications related to stationary engineering or mechanical systems are highly desirable. In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems for power generation and utility distribution. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems effectively. Strong knowledge of safety procedures and government regulations related to operating and maintaining stationary systems. Proficiency in maintaining equipment logs and using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally. Passport should be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring. Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for the duration of deployment. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a multi-national workforce is preferred. Valid country driver’s license and passport. Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide). Stationary Engineer License or equivalent certification. Experience working in government or military facilities, including compliance with DoD and NAVFAC regulations. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in emergency or high-pressure scenarios. Familiarity with energy management systems and conservation methods to improve system efficiency. |
