Key Deliverables

  • Operate assigned company vehicle(s) on a fixed route or for a specific department/personnel, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.
  • Follow the agreed daily schedule and notify the Operation officer immediately of any delays or issues.
  • Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks (tyres, oil, lights, brakes, fuel) and report defects or maintenance needs.
  • Keep the vehicle clean (interior and exterior) and ensure fuel cards and vehicle documents are secured and used appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records and fuel reports; submit required paperwork on time.
  • Assist with safe loading and unloading of light items when necessary.
  • Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company driving policies and safety procedures.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to passengers and act with discretion when handling sensitive documents or passenger belongings.
  • Be available for occasional overtime or split shifts as operational needs demand.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years professional driving experience; experience in a standard/corporate driver role preferred.
  • Valid Nigerian driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle class.
  • Clean driving record (no major traffic convictions).
  • Basic literacy and numeracy to complete logs and follow written instructions.
  • Excellent knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns and alternative routes.
  • Punctual, dependable with strong time-management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve minor operational problems.
  • Basic mechanical awareness to spot and report vehicle faults.
  • High level of integrity, discretion and professionalism.


Special Benefits for this Position

  • Competitive salary: N120,000 - N150,000 / month based on experience.
  • Overtime pay and statutory benefits as per company policy.
