The role: Customer service specialist, estimator and bridge between the client and production.

This is a role that combines print production and customer service. You won't be stuck behind a desk or hidden away in a warehouse. You'll be an integral part of the company's success. It's a high-energy role where you'll be involved in everything with the team, from the initial "hello" and preparing quotes to final delivery to the customer.

  1. Customer experience (The "face" of the store)
  • To be one of the main points of contact for new clients and long-term business accounts.
  • Consult with clients on paper stocks, finishes, timelines and prepare estimates, get work approved, follow up with the production department until delivery.
  • Manage the admissions process using our MIS software, ensuring that every detail is captured for a flawless result.
  1. Production and finishing
  • Liaise with production team members to deliver first-class results and be able to step in to execute projects as needed.
  • Organize samples for clients and send them to production for printing once approved.
  1. Workflow coordination
  • Collaborating with the production manager to synchronize production schedules.
  • Engage local delivery services to ensure customers receive their projects when and where they need them.

Experience you should have:

  • Printing experience: 1 to 2 years in a print shop, sign-making business, or copy center is highly preferred. You should already be familiar with printers and the software used to create printed documents.
  • Mindset: You can go from an equipment challenge to a friendly phone call without losing your cool.
  • Attention to detail: you are the person who notices a 2mm margin error at the other end of the room.
  • Tech Savvy: Must be very proficient in using computers. Must know how to write emails to clients, prepare estimates, etc.
  • Reliability: We are a small, close-knit team. We need someone who is ready to succeed.
