Key Deliverables

As a Specialist, you will be the daily expert in financial supervision and analysis:Financial Analysis and Consulting: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to proactively identify key trends, discrepancies, opportunities, and risks. Provide actionable insights to management to improve profitability and cost management.Budget management and forecasting: Take charge of the development, management and meticulous monitoring of annual budgets and detailed forecasts for key business departments, working closely with the sales and finance teams.Strategic Partnership: Acting as a dedicated financial business partner for assigned functional areas, building and maintaining strong working relationships with department heads and their teams to ensure ongoing financial expertise and support.Performance Reports: Prepare and present comprehensive monthly, quarterly and annual executive reports and summaries on financial performance for management and non-financial stakeholders.Analysis of variance and KPIs: Independently identify, analyze, and report on discrepancies between budgeted and actual spending, recommending corrective actions. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to rigorously assess business performance.Process Improvement and Compliance: Identify and implement improvements to financial reporting and analysis processes to increase efficiency and accuracy. Ensure strict adherence to relevant financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Audit and ad hoc support: Provide practical support for internal and external audits by compiling necessary documentation and answering questions accurately and promptly. Support the development and implementation of cost-saving and process efficiency initiatives.

Professional Qualifications

Industry Qualification
Business Development, Sales, Marketing and Retail A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is highly desirable. Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in a financial analysis, business partnership or similar specialist role, preferably in the telecommunications or technology sector. Core competencies: A solid, proven background in advanced financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting is essential. Stakeholder engagement: Demonstrated experience of working effectively in partnership with senior management and cross-functional teams, particularly non-financial stakeholders. Expertise: Excellent analytical, problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Communication: Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly translate complex financial data into understandable business narratives and recommendations. Work ethic: Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple complex priorities, and deliver consistently high-quality work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Technical proficiency: Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, HFM, advanced Excel modeling) is required.
