- Participate in the growth of VBU department revenues
- Understand the “sales” objective for the financial year set by the company (Objective by sector, by individual, etc.)
- Implement strategies recommended by VBU Sales Management
- Sale to SMEs (private and public) of various broadband solutions (Mobile, Radwin, PABX, Voip, Fiber optic products, Satellite, M2M, Reverse billing, etc.)
- Have a good understanding of all existing products and new products developed by the company
- Ensuring that Vodacom's offerings meet customer expectations
- Report daily, weekly and monthly on sales activities
- Monitor competitive activities and make recommendations on evolving market data
- Manage a portfolio of SME business clients (private and public) both in the sale of new solutions and in retention in order to maintain and increase the value of the portfolio
- Carry out regular sales visits to customers
- Ensure customer retention and pay particular attention to their needs
- Maintain good relationships with customers at all levels of responsibility.
- Ensure all retention strategies are closely monitored for customer retention
- Interact with the Admin, Credit Control, Operations, Billing, Customer service, technical divisions for the resolution of customer queries
- Manage the prospecting of new business clients (private and public) for the sale of solutions and services
- In Direct Sales: Make regular presentations of products and solutions to prospective companies
- Indirect Sales: Develop the sales and acquisition strategy for SME customers through the necessary indirect channels (freelancers, distributors, resellers, etc.) and manage selected partners
- Ensure that a weekly prospecting list (existing and new customers) is drawn up and sent at the start of the week to the line manager
- Participate in weekly VBU department meetings
- Participate in weekly sales performance meetings and share individual achievements
- Perform daily hygiene of the “reportforce” Pipeline on sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain up-to-date account management plans for all clients
