Shop Manager at Durapoa Secondhand Collections

Have working experience of at least one (1) year as a shop supervisor in a second hand textile company (preferably Think Twice Second Hand, Seven Sunday Second Hand, or Second Chance etc.)

• Minimum Qualification : Highschool
• Experience Level : Entry level
• Experience Length : 1 year

i. Oversee daily sales.

ii. Motivating the sale team to fulfill sales goals.

iii. Generating business and marketing strategies.

iv. Monitoring store inventory levels and placing new orders as needed.

v. Implementing store policies and procedures to ensure high quality levels of customer satisfaction.

vi. Build team relationships and lead towards common workplace goals.

vii. Create business strategies to attract new customers and improve store profitability.

viii. Training and overseeing new staffs.

ix. Response to customer and staff complaints and concerns in a professional manner.

x. Design and arrange in-store display, present promotional materials and delivery excellent customer service.

xi. Provide on timely store data including balanced daily sales and any other report required from him/her.

xii. Control work schedules to keep overtime payments in check.

xiii. Confirm that all the figures in the week report are actual and not estimate and that all costs are posted correctly and accurately.

xiv. Ensure that all cash (equivalent to the day sales) is banked the following day by 10.00 a.m. unless instructed otherwise by the accounts office. A float of Ksh. 5,000 is allocated to cashiers to facilitate availability of change.

xv. Ensure that the cashiers properly understand the cash machine operations and perform transactions correctly and accurately.

xvi. Confirm and ensure that the pricing for all items is right at all time.

xvii. Ensuring that the shop is 100% ready for new cycle opening, well arranged, clean and sufficient promotion has been undertaken.

xviii. Ensure cash up reports are done correctly and accurately daily and proper explanations (in writing) are given for any variance.
