Key Deliverables

  • Drive optimization of multi-vendor Radio Networks (preferably Huawei & ZTE) to achieve and exceed KPIs across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G systems.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of worst cell lists to identify issues and implement effective troubleshooting strategies.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive optimization plans to enhance overall network performance and user experience.
  • Engage in technical discussions with customers to address needs and present innovative optimization solutions.
  • Perform end-to-end root cause analysis on complex issues, providing solutions for network rectification and improvement.
  • Lead and manage SSV/Cluster Optimization and regular reporting on SLA KPIs to ensure satisfaction.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering skill development in network optimization methodologies and emerging technologies.
  • Serve as the primary interface for customer interactions related to optimization activities, ensuring all objectives align with quality standards.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in RF Planning & Optimization for 2G, 3G, LTE & 5G networks.
  • Strong working experience with Huawei and ZTE Radio Access technologies/OSS platforms and parameters/counters.
  • In-depth analysis and troubleshooting capability using radio network statistics and Layer 3 traces.
  • Ability to perform Drive-Test log analysis and work efficiently with NPO tools.
  • Proficient in written/spoken English with strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex relationships.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Familiarity with Nokia SRAN, DCAP Solution, and Nokia tools such as MUSA, Atoll (9955), and SON.
  • Ability to understand and utilize crowd-sourced data (FB, Google, OpenSignal, etc.) to identify trends/insights and drive actionable improvements.
  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Power Pivot, Power BI, Power Automate, etc.).
  • Self-driven, flexible team player with a can-do attitude, who takes responsibility and delivers results.
