Operating in the DRC, it offers tailored solutions in health, auto, travel, home, and professional insurance, while emphasizing innovation, quality customer service, and the digitalization of its services.As part of strengthening its teams, our client is looking for a Senior Compliance Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the company's regulatory, legal and ethical compliance by guaranteeing the control of non-compliance risks, securing operations and respecting legal and sector obligations, while supporting teams in the application of internal policies and the applicable regulatory framework.

Implement the compliance policy defined by the Board of Directors;To initiate, promote and raise awareness among teams about the risks associated with non-compliance within the company;Deploy and strengthen the culture of compliance and ethics within the organization;Ensure compliance with and application of the code of ethics;To monitor regulatory developments and anticipate changes in the legal and sectoral framework of insurance;Analyze the impact of regulatory changes on the company's activities;Provide support to teams on issues related to establishing business relationships and the risks of non-compliance;Report any difficulties or suspicious situations identified to the Compliance Officer;Implement, in collaboration with the General Management, the department's strategic plan;Prepare the monthly control sheets for the compliance and legal department;Participate in internal department meetings as well as any meetings by delegation or invitation;Maintaining and organizing correspondence with regulatory authorities;Analyze, secure and/or draft contracts with a view to compliance;To monitor the execution of the parties' contractual obligations;Advise the company in its relations with third parties;To legally and regulatory secure the company's operations;Apply OHADA law in the operations concerned;Managing and steering litigation;Accompanying the tax specialist during tax audits;Ensure the classification and security of sensitive files;Provide regular reports to management;Perform any other task assigned by management.

| Compliance, Risk Management, and Regulatory Affairs | Master's degree (Bac +5) in Law (business law, insurance law or equivalent) Proven experience of at least 5 years in compliance, audit, internal control or legal matters, ideally in the insurance or financial sector Good command of OHADA law, insurance law and sector regulations Solid knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks, FATF standards and ARCA regulatory obligations Expertise in regulatory monitoring and prudential reporting (ARCA) Experience in preparing for inspections by regulatory authorities Implementation of KYC procedures, due diligence and customer risk classification Management of suspicious transaction reports (CENAREF) and monitoring of anti-money laundering measures Ability to implement compliance policies, code of conduct, conflict of interest management, and whistleblower protection. Experience in risk mapping and monitoring compliance action plans Monitoring of sanctions lists (OFAC, UN, EU) and management of associated risks Participation in the validation of contracts, partnerships and new products from a compliance perspective Ability to train and raise awareness among teams regarding compliance and ethical issues Excellent analytical, rigorous, and communication skills Strong sense of ethics, autonomy, and ability to work under pressure Professional English preferred |
