As the Sales Manager – Imported Vehicles, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Executives to achieve ambitious sales goals in the imported car market. You will guide sales operations, develop new market opportunities, and ensure exceptional performance through strategic planning, coaching, and execution. This role requires a deep understanding of the automotive import industry, strong leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to managing both people and performance.

Key Deliverables

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies focused on the imported vehicle segment.
  • Identify new market opportunities and oversee the development of dealership and business partnerships.
  • Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance standards for the sales team; monitor and evaluate progress.
  • Train, mentor, and support sales staff to improve product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer engagement.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to inform sales strategy.
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with key clients, dealers, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing and logistics departments to align sales initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools and ensure timely reporting and forecasting.
  • Represent the company at key industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to enhance brand visibility.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the automotive or imported vehicle sector.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a sales management or senior sales role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Management, or a related field is preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of automotive sales and importation processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Excellent strategic planning, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
