The position
1. CONTEXT
As part of the implementation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Permanent Dialogue Mechanism of ITURIANS, afflicted by the security situation born of community conflicts and local armed groups, which cause thousands of deaths, injuries, and displacements. The main mission of this framework is to create an environment conducive to the taking and acceptance of the Secretariat's decisions and an atmosphere of open dialogue. CONGO PEACE CENTER with the technical support of SODEICO Manpower is recruiting a research and documentation officer.The incumbent in this position will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of programs, coordinating activities between stakeholders and ensuring the effectiveness of initiatives.
2. ORGANIZATIONAL POSITIONThe Research and Documentation Officer will work under the supervision of his or her direct manager.

The Research and Documentation Officer will assume the following duties and responsibilities:
- Carry out strategic monitoring of trends and innovations in the humanitarian sector in order to optimize interventions and programs;
- Design and manage studies and analyses to improve the impact of projects and identify new opportunities for action;
- Ensure the collection, analysis and interpretation of data from field interventions in order to guide strategic decisions;
- Develop and test new approaches and methodologies adapted to the needs of beneficiaries and operational constraints;
- Collaborate with field teams to integrate research findings into program planning and execution;
- Write analytical reports and recommendations based on study results to improve project implementation;
- Monitor and evaluate pilot projects to identify best practices and necessary adjustments;
- Strengthen the capacities of internal teams in research and innovation through training and experience sharing sessions;
- Manage relationships with academic, institutional and donor partners to strengthen collaboration and funding opportunities;
- Ensure compliance of research and development projects with donor requirements, humanitarian standards and current regulations;
- Ensure document supervision: Collect, organize, classify and archive project documents (reports, studies, technical sheets, testimonials, etc.);
- Ensure the dissemination of knowledge: Set up tools to share documentary resources with stakeholders;
- Compliance with standards: Ensure the application of document management and sensitive data confidentiality standards.
