Job Description

  • The Raw Material Store Officer will support the Raw Material Store Supervisor in receiving, organizing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of raw materials used in furniture production.
  • The role ensures proper inventory control, material handling, and efficient store operations to support uninterrupted production.

Key Deliverables

  • Receive, inspect, and verify raw materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Properly label, store, and organize raw materials in designated locations.
  • Issue materials to production based on approved requisitions and maintain accurate records.
  • Update stock cards and inventory records regularly.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment.
  • Assist with stock counts, inventory reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage or loss

Professional Qualifications

Industry Qualification
Procurement, Logistics , Supply Chain Management Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 1–3 years’ experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory management (manufacturing experience is an advantage). Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Basic computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Excel and Word. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. Integrity and accountability.
