  • The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for overseeing project costs, preparing bills of quantities, and ensuring that the financial management of interior and construction projects aligns with timelines, budgets, and company objectives.

Key Deliverables

  • Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates based on design drawings and specifications.
  • Evaluate tender documents and subcontractor quotations.
  • Monitor ongoing project costs and report any variances from the budget.
  • Support procurement processes and negotiate with vendors to optimize cost efficiency.
  • Prepare valuations, progress claims, and final accounts for projects.
  • Collaborate with design and site teams to ensure all variations and project changes are captured and costed.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and value engineering analysis.
  • Conduct site visits to verify work progress and resolve cost discrepancies.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • BSc Degree / HND in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in interior design or construction environments.
  • Membership of NIQS or other professional bodies is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of cost control and contract administration.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX).
  • Good knowledge of construction and interior fit-out materials and methods.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
