Key Deliverables

  • CLIENT PRESENTATION

The client is a non-governmental organization operating in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with the main objective of promoting rural development in the country.

  • MISSIONS

Its mission will be to:As part of his/her role, the selected candidate will in particular:

  • Define, implement and manage the QHSE policy of an agro-industrial group of Cocoa, rubber and palm in collaboration with top management and operational teams.
  • Lead the implementation of the internal management system for the Rain Forest Alliance (RA) sustainability standard and the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
  • Integrate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into internal processes.
  • Raise awareness and train teams in good QHSE practices and sustainability issues.
  • Carry out internal QHSE audits and RA and RDUE standards, and manage corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Bringing OHS committees into compliance and carrying out OHS assessments, raising awareness on all aspects related to health, safety and work in the Group.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Bac +5 in QHSE, Environment, Sustainable Development or equivalent.
  • Proven experience of at least 3 to 5 years in agricultural certifications (RA, UTZ, Fairtrade, ISO, etc.).
  • Proficiency in office tools and QHSE software.
  • Good knowledge of the agricultural sector in Central Africa, ideally the cocoa sector is a plus
